Yes, to use multiple boxes you need to have Windows Computer Cluster Server (v1) or the new Windows HPC Server.

Subject: [MPI.NET] mpi on 2 XP machines

Hi,
I can use MPI.NET on my box using 1 or more cores.
I tried though to run my program using another box on the network but I get a lot of errors.
Both machines run MPI.NET and MS Compute Cluster Pack SDK.
Do I need to have a MS CCS in order to mpiexec program to remote boxes?
Can't this be done on a peer-to-peer fashion?

Here the error I get:

Aborting: Access denied by node '192.168.0.121'.
A common cause: this node is a resource managed by the Compute Cluster scheduler and mpiexec was attempting to use it without a scheduled job.

Thanks,
Fed
