Hi,

i'm a gentoo linux developer and recently begun to play with MPI.net.
However, i fail to compile or even configure the sources.

First, using the shipped configure and makefiles, i run into a make
error that is due to your MPI/Makefile.am using spaces instead of tabs.
I have attached a patch to fix that.

On the following autoreconf the aclocal part chokes on configure.ac,
line 205:
dnl Variable substitutions
AC_SUBST(MCS ILASM MONO MPIEXEC PERL
    CSHARP_FLAGS CSHARP_DEFINES MPI_HEADER
    MPI_SHARED_LIB_NAME MPI_FUNC_PREFIX)

I haven't found a authoritative answer whether this is allowed or which
semantics this command has. To date, i've only seen single argument
AC_SUBSTs.

My current aclocal/automake version is 1.10.2

Trying to come up with a meaningful patch, your insight would be very
much appreciated.
