This error code is 0xC000142 in hex. Which means DLL init failed.
Either one of your app DLLs can not initialize or you are missing a required DLL in your application path.

Hmm, dunno. It's hard to tell just from that what's going on. Maybe you
could try from scratch (that is, a totally clean build) assuming you
haven't already and try to catch the error message about building
MPIUtils.dll, because I suspect that's where the real problem is?
