I compiled MPI.NET in Linux (OpenSUSE) against OpenMPI 1.2.8 following the instructions in README.TXT.
After applying Matti's patches (thank you) autogen.sh, make,' make install' all seemed to go fine but when I tried 'make check -k' it ran through a bunch of the tests which seemed like they passed (it didn't give me errors) but I eventually got this error:
Unhandled Exception: MPI.MessageTruncatedException: MPI_ERR_TRUNCATE: message truncated
at MPI.Intercommunicator.ReduceScatter[Int32] (System.Int32 inValues, MPI.ReductionOperation`1 op, System.Int32 counts, System.Int32& outValues) [0x00000]
at IntercommunicatorTest.IntercommunicatorTest.Main (System.String args) [0x00000]
I'm not sure what to think because it seems like if it compiled the tests would work. If anyone has an idea about what could be wrong that'd be helpful. Or maybe I shouldn't worry about it because it seemed like a lot of the other tests passed?
