Parameters

oldcomm
Type: MPI..::.Intracommunicator
The existing communicator.
ndims
Type: System..::.Int32
The number of dimensions for the Cartesian grid.
dims
Type: array< System..::.Int32 >[]()[]
An array of length ndims indicating the size of the grid in each dimension.
periods
Type: array< System..::.Boolean >[]()[]
A logical array of length ndims indicating whether the grid is periodic in any given dimension.

Return Value

The new rank of the calling process.
