My amazing USB key

I bought an USB key(1GB, DANE-ELEC) from K-Mart with a very cheap price a few weeks ago. It looked very cute and useful. More importantly, it was very cheap. AFAIR, it was $14.
Anyway, I saved my MP3 files(about 900MB) to it and carried it in my pants pocket anywhere. One day, I put the pants to my laundry box without checking the pockets of the pants carefully and totally forgot about my USB key until today.
I just wanted to listen what I saved to the USB key and I realized that it is missing. It must be always in my pocket since I carry it all the time but it is not there. I looked around everywhere in my house but I could not find it until I checked the pants that I put to the laundry box. Alas, it is there and the pants was completed washed and dried in the dryer.
I believed that my USB key was completely broken and I did not even think about that all the MP3 files would be fine.
Believe it or not, I put the USB key to my laptop. Hola, everything is working. Hahaha :-) I don't know when it will stop working but until then, I would love this amazing USB key.
