Why Linux?

Well, why linux? I think linux is a pretty interesting stuff. As a system administrator myself, this gives me a lot of possibilities to handle many problems. What do you guys think about linux? When it comes to linux, AFAIK, it is a free and rebust operating system with the command line interface highly well designed.
