pics Belize (& Guatemala)
[December, 2007] To escape winter—which makes Bloomington even more dreadful than usual—I travelled to Belize. I spent some time in the jungle, on the cayes, and near (and in, briefly) Guatemala. I've wanted to visit Belize for quite some time—ever since I read ‘Home Cooking in the Global Village’. It was an absolutely brilliant holiday, and the experience was both enjoyable and consciousness-raising.
